Lavenders Blue - Terms & Conditions of Trading

•  Goods supplied by Lavenders Blue. shall remain the property of the company until the company has received funds in full on any goods, services & deliveries supplied under any contract.

•  Risk in relation to any goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the said customer.

•  Any claim for shortage, damage or defects MUST be reported to the company within 48 hours of delivery. The company must be given an immediate opportunity to inspect the goods/workmanship, failing to do this, may result in claims being jeopardised.

•  These terms shall remain in force until altered in writing & signed by both parties.

PAYMENT

•  On all items, payment is required in advance of receipt of goods.

•  On "gypsy caravans" - 50% deposit when order is placed and the balance must be paid 7 days prior to delivery, either by credit card or cheque.

•  The goods remain the property of the company until funds have been received in full.

•  On delivery of the "gypsy caravan", a quality check will be re-conducted, in the presence of the customer, and signed off.

•  The Company shall not be liable to repair, replace or make good any loss in respect of defects caused by incorrect usage, installation, or handling by the customer or any third party or by normal wear and tear.

•  The customer will accept delivery & provide reasonable access to enable installation. Should crane access be required, Lavenders Blue must be told when the order is placed, so the delivery can be made at the same time as the crane. (Crane access is approximately £300.) If no delivery date is fixed to accept the caravan when notified within 4 weeks, the company will cancel the order and the customer forfeits the deposit.

•  All reasonable endeavours will be made to adhere to delivery dates quoted at the time of order. However, such dates are approximate and are given in good faith based upon information at the time of order and the company will not accept any liability for loss suffered by delay in delivery.

•  Delivery prices apply to the UK mainland and Scottish Lowlands only. Overseas & Highlands quotations are available.

•  Lavenders Blue reserves the right to change prices and specifications & terms without prior notification; this will only occur to the benefit of the products.

•  Delivery time for caravan is 6-8 weeks from ordering. All other products, when in stock, will be delivered within 14 days.

Nothing in these terms and conditions affects any of the customer's statutory rights in relation to the supply of goods.
